PENGARUH PERSEPSI TENTANG IKLIM SEKOLAH TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR DAN KEDISIPLINAN BELAJAR SISWA JURUSAN TEKNIK INSTALASI TENAGA LISTRIK SMK BOEDI OETOMO 3 MAOS CILACAP

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dengan media berbasis komputer berupa software FluidSIM dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa kelas XII program keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik SMK Negeri 2 Klaten pada kompetensi dasar merangkai rangkaian pneumatik dan hidrolik. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan dengan diterapkannya strategi pembelajaran inkuiri dengan media berbasis komputer berupa software FluidSIM, kompetensi siswa pada kompetensi dasar merangkai rangkaian pneumatik dan hidrolik mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan yang terjadi pada aspek afektif sebesar 26,28%  yang semula 52,56% menjadi 78,94%. Peningkatan yang terjadi pada aspek psikomotorik sebesar 32,02% untuk nilai rata-rata kelas dengan nilai awal 56,17 menjadi 78,63 sedangkan jumlah siswa yang lulus mengalami peningkatan sebesar 84,85% dengan jumlah awal 3 siswa menjadi 31 siswa. Peningkatan yang terjadi pada aspek kognitif sebesar 6,78% untuk nilai rata-rata kelas dengan nilai awal 72,66 menjadi 77,55 sedangkan jumlah siswa yang lulus mengalami peningkatan sebesar 36,37% dengan jumlah siswa awal 15 siswa menjadi 27 siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to know each variable in the study, namely the perception of the school climate, students’ interest, and students’ learning discipline. In addition, this research also aims to determine the influence of the perception of the school climate on the students’ learning interest and learning discipline at Mechanical Power Installation SMK Boedi Oetomo 3 Maos Cilacap. This study is Ex-post Facto with quantitative approach. The participants of this research are the students of Mechanical Power Installation SMK Boedi Oetomo 3 Maos Cilacap academic year 2012/2013. The data collection method used the form of documentary studies and survey method. The data gathered are presented in descriptive analysis then testing the hypothesis that includes simple regression analysis, interpretation of the correlation coefficient, and determination of the coefficient determinant. The result showed that (1) the perception of the school climate of SMK Boedi Oetomo 3 Maos Cilacap included in the moderate category, (2) students’ learning interest included in the moderate category, (3) students' learning discipline included in the moderate category, (4) The influence of perceptions of the school climate on the students’ learning interest included in the low criteria by donating effect 14.7%, (5) the influence of perceptions of the school climate on the students’ learning discipline included in the medium category by donating by donating effect 21.2%
