IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DI PROGRAM KEAHLIAN TITL SMKN 2 YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) nilai karakter yang diberikan; (2) pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter; (3) hasil pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi dengan model goal oriented. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 128 orang siswa dan 24 orang guru Program Keahlian TITL. Responden penelitian sebanyak 97 orang ditentukan dengan rumus empiris oleh Issac dan Michael, responden setiap kelas ditentukan dengan teknik propotional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Nilai-nilai karakter yang diberikan yaitu kejujuran, kedisiplinan, sopan santun/etika, tanggungjawab, kerjasama, percaya dan kreativitas. (2) Pembelajaran nilai-nilai karakter melalui pengembangan diri, ekstrakulikuler, manajemen sekolah dan terintegrasi dalam pelajaran. (3) Pengintegrasian mata pelajaran, pengembangan diri, dan ekstrakurikuler pada kategori sangat baik, sedangkan melalui manajemen sekolah pada kategori baik. Nilai pencapaian kualitas pelaksanaan program penanaman nilai-nilai karakter siswa dan hasil dari penilaian guru terhadap karakter siswa dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

 

The goal this research to (1) the value of a given character; (2) implementation of character education; (3) the result of character education. This research was the evaluation of the model of goal-oriented. The subject was 128 students and 24 teachers TITL Skills Program. The respondents were 97 persons determined by the empirical formula by Issac and Michael, respondents each class is determined by proportional random sampling technique. Data collected by observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive analysis of qualitative and quantitative. Results showed (1) The values given character of honesty, discipline, manners / ethics, responsibility, cooperation, trust and creativity. (2) Learning the values of character through self-development, extracurricular, school management and integrated into the lesson. (3) The integration of subjects, personal development, and extracurricular in the excellent category, while through the school management in good categories. Value achieving quality planting program execution character values of students and the results of teacher assessment of the character of the students in good categories.
