Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kompetensi kerja lulusan SMK bidang otomasi industri saat ini; (2) mengetahui kebutuhan kompetensi kerja lulusan SMK di bidang otomasi industri; serta (3) mengetahui kesenjangan antara kompetensi kerja lulusan SMK dan kompetensi kerja yang dibutuhkan di bidang otomasi industri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan model studi kasus di Unit Spinning PT. Sri Rejeki Isman, Tbk. (PT. Sritex). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah kompetensi kerja yang dibutuhkan PT. Sritex aspek afektif yaitu: (1) disiplin; (2) cermat; (3) tepat; dan (4) karakter kerja. Kompetensi aspek kognitif yang dibutuhkan adalah pengetahuan tentang: (1) kelistrikan; (2) elektronik; (3) hidrolik; (4) PLC; (5) SCADA; (6) mesin perkakas konvensional; dan (7) sistem otomasi industri. Kompetensi aspek psikomotorik yang dibutuhkan adalah: (1) mengembangkan peralatan dan sistem otomasi; (2) membuat elemen mekanik sistem otomasi; (3) merakit peralatan dan sistem otomasi; dan (4) merancang peralatan dan sistem otomasi di Industri.

Abstract

This research is purposed to: (1) find out the job competence of vocational high school graduations in industrial automation departement; (2) find out the requirements of the job competence of vocational high school graduations in industrial automation departement; and (3) find out the discrepancy between the job competence of vocational high school graduations and the requirements of the job competence in industrial automation departement. This is a qualitative research method and case study model on the spinning unit of PT. Sri Rejeki Isman, Tbk. (PT. Sritex). The result of this research is the job competence on the affective aspect that required by PT. Sritex is: (1) discipline; (2) punctilious; (3) precise; and (4) the working character. The job competence on the cognitive aspect that required is: (1) electricity; (2) electronics; (3) hydraulics; (4) PLC; (5) SCADA; (6) conventional machine; and (7) industrial automation system. The job competence on the psychomotoric aspect that required is: (1) developing the production tools and automation systems; (2) creating the mechanic elment on automation systems; (3) assembling production tools and automation systems; and (4) designing production tools and automation system on the industry.
