THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE USE OF FLASH CARDS IN THE TEACHING OF GERMAN WRITING IN SMA NEGERI 1 SLEMAN

Abstract


This research aimed to determine of the effectiveness of the use of flash cards in the teaching of German writing in SMA Negeri 1 Sleman. Samples taken by simple random sampling. Numbers of samples is 64 students. This research consisted of two variables, named independent variable and dependent variable. This research is a quasi experimental design. The data was collected by pre-test and post-test. To find the reliability of the instruments use Alpha Cronbach. The validity of each instruments were tested using content and construct validity. The data analysis were tested using t-test. The results of the research shows the use of flash card in the teaching of German writing in SMA Negeri 1 Sleman is more effective than conventional media. The effectiveness is 9, 94%.
