Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the state of the social and
economic situation of households Attraction merchants Gajah Mungkur Wonogiri.
This type of research is descriptive quantitative spatial approach. The
population in this study is a trader in attraction Gajah Mungkur Wonogiri,
amounting to 38 people with a population research techniques. Methods of data
collection using observation and interviews. Data processing techniques using
editing, coding and tabulation. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive
analysis.
The results showed that the overall socio-economic conditions of households
Attraction merchants Gajah Mungkur Wonogiri is good, it can be seen from several
indicators that many traders in household incomes attraction Gajah Mungkur
Wonogiri is between Rp 1,500,000 s / d Rp 2,999,999 (52.6 percent). Many traders
in the attraction Gajah Mungkur Wonogiri also have paddy fields (50.0%), tegal
(50.0%) and yards (13.2%), this suggests that revenues are owned by merchants do
not come from the trade only but also have revenues from the utilization of land
holdings owned solely by the merchant. Traders also own means of transportation
such as cars (0.4%) and motorcycles (32.5%) and household fittings, for example, is
television (18.4%), computers (5.3%) and also mobile phones (39.9%). The trader
attraction Gajah Mungkur Wonogiri has its own residence with an area that varies
quite a lot between 100 m2 - 200 m2 (39.5%), but it also had walls made of wall
(81.6%), roofed precarious (100%) and floor tiles (63.2%), this suggests that in
terms of shelter already habitable.
