KEPRIBADIAN GURU BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING YANG IDEAL BAGI SISWA SMA SE KECAMATAN GOMBONG

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) kepribadian guru bimbingan dan konseling yang ideal bagi siswa SMA Se Kecamatan Gombong, dan (2) alasan memilih kepribadian yang dipandang ideal tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI di SMA Se Kecamatan Gombong sebanyak 256 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kepribadian guru bimbingan dan konseling yang ideal bagi siswa SMA. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kecenderungan kepribadian guru bimbingan dan konseling yang ideal bagi siswa SMA Se Kecamatan Gombong berada pada kategori ideal sebesar (97,66%); dan (2) hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa dari 46 indikator yang dianggap menentukan ideal tidaknya seorang guru BK terdapat 10 indikator utama yang meliputi adalah indikator jujur, memiliki kesanggupan, emosinya stabil, mampu memahami orang lain, sabar, sehat jasmani, berkomunikasi secara efektif, berpandangan positif, keteguhan hati, dan beragama.

Abstract                                  

This study aims to describe: (1) teacher personality counseling and ideal counseling for high school students of Se Sub Gombong, and (2) reason to choose the ideal personality. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative approach. The sample of the research is the students of class XI in SMA Se Gombong sub-district as many as 256 students. Data collection techniques using teacher counseling and counseling ideal scales for high school students. Data analysis technique using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) the teacher personality traits and counseling ideal for high school students in the district of Gombong are in ideal category (97.66%); and (2) the results of the study found that of 46 indicators that are considered to determine the ideal or absence of a BK teacher there are 10 main indicators that include is an honest indicator, have the ability, emotions stable, able to understand others, patient, healthy, communicate effectively, positive view, persistence , and religion.
