AUTO-MECHANICAL AS INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA OF TECHNICAL MICROPROCESSOR FOR CLASS X AUTOTRONICS ENGINEERING COMPETENCE AT 1 SEYEGAN STATE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract


The reasearch is purposing for the development, test performance, and test the feasibility of Auto-Mechanical level as instructional media of technical microprocessor for class X autotronics engineering competence at 1 Seyegan State Vocational High School. This reasearch uses reasearch and development method’s with the following steps: (1) Potential and Problems; (2) Data Collection; (3) Product Design; (4) Validate Design; (5) Revised Design; (6) Test Product; (7) Revision of the Product; (8) Trial Usage; and (9) Revised Product. Research object is the Auto-Mechanical as instructional media of technical microprocessor. The method that researcher used for collecting the data on this study included literature review, testing & observation, and questionnaires (questionnaire). The results of this reasearch are a hardware with 10-block series of experiments include: (1) Head Lamp, (2) Hazard & Sign Lamp, (3) Warning Lamp, (4) Brightness Lamp Control, (5) Auto Rain System for Wiper, (6) Safety Lock System, (7) Rotary Back Mirror, (8) Power Window, (9) Moving Door, and (10) Auto Brake System, and also a guide book. The results of the validation performed by the Auto-Mechanical material experts gain validity with the percentage 86.32% categorized as very feasible. The construct validation level by obtaining media expert level with a percentage of 89.58% validity categorized as very feasible. While testing the use by the students got a yield of 85.15% with a very decent category. So that Auto-Mechanical can be categorized as very feasible as an instructional media of technical microprocessor for subjects of autotronics engineering competence at 1 Seyegan State Vocational High School.
