MONITORING WINDMILL DATA SYSTEM BASED ON MICROCONTROLER ATMEGA32 AT PANDANSIMO BARU BEACH

Abstract


The objective of this final project is to discover how to design monitoring data logger of electric windmill system, production monitoring data logger of electric windmill, and performance of data logger as a data monitoring system on wind power (PLTA). Data logger making consist of several stages, it includes needs analysis tool needed such as designing power supply, voltage censor, LCD, and ATmega32. This design includes hardware and software. Hardware design includes manufactured of PCB, box and software programming using CV-AVR. Performance testing of this tool includes no-load test, with load, and data storage. Based on the result of testing which has been done, it is obtainable that monitoring windmill data system based on microcontroller ATmega32 at Pandansimo Baru beach is a monitoring system to monitor voltage, current, and power which produced by windmill that utilized the wind at Pandansimo Baru beach. The test result of current, voltage, and power performance will be displayed on the LCD so that it easier to be monitored.
