DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINER AS A TESTING PRACTICUM TOOL OF PWM GENERATOR CIRCUIT, BUCK CONVERTER, BOOST CONVERTER AND BUCK-BOOST CONVERTER ON ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT IMPLEMENTATION SUBJECTS IN CLASS XI SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BANTUL

Abstract


This research have purposes to: (1) Do the development of trainer as a testing practicum tool of PWM generator circuit, Buck Converter, Boost Converter and Buck-boost Converter on electronic circuit implementation subjects in class XI SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul; (2) To know the feasibility of trainer as a testing practicum tool of PWM generator circuit, Buck Converter, Boost Converter and Buck-boost Converter on electronic circuit implementation subjects in class XI SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. This research type is research and development that using Kemp & Dayton development model. This research and development conducted by 5 steps that is, preliminary planning, the kinds of media, designing media, producing media, and using and evaluating media. This research product is practicum tool that have been validated by 2 media expert judgment and 2 subject expert judgment before tested on 35 students of class XI TAV A and XI TAV B SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. Research data taken using questionnaire instrument that have been validated by 2 instrument expert judgement. Research data shows: (1) Expert judgment give product score for matter aspect about 3.4, functional aspect about 3.125, design aspect about 3.31, working aspect about 3.357, then average score about 3.3; (2) Student give product score for matter aspect about 3.41, design aspect about 3.286, working aspect about 3.45, environment aspect about 3.41, functional aspect about 3.364, then average score about 3.385. From the data, then it is known that developed product going into very feasible category.
