DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA ACCESS CONTROL OF FINGERPRINT ON THE SUBJECTS OF ENGINEERING CONTROL SYSTEM OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING SKILL PROGRAM AT SMK

Abstract


So far the learning media for subject of Engineering Control System at SMK Negeri 1 Nanggulan and SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih need to be improved. This study aims to produce the development design, test performance, and test the feasibility of developing learning media access control fingerprint on the subjects of Engineering Control System Program of Industrial Electronics Engineering Skills at SMK. This research uses research and development method with stages: (1) Potential Problem, (2) Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation, (5) Design Revision, (6) Trial Products, (7) Product Revisions, (8) Trial of Use, and (9) Product Revisions. Data collection was conducted including testing, observation, and questionnaire (questionnaire). The object of this research is learning media access control of fingerprint on Controlling Engineering Subject. Learning media is validated by material experts and media experts, as well as 62 students of class XI (eleven) Industrial Electronics Technique SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih as the subject of trial use. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The result of this research is a learning media of fingerprint control access in the form of trainer with 2 introduction blocks and 8 blocks of experimental series completed with the worksheet. The validation result of the content of learning media development materials Fingerprint Control Access by the material experts get the percentage of 87.5% with very decent category. While the results of construct validation conducted by media experts get a percentage of 90.97% with very decent category. Then the results of trial usage by students get a percentage of 85.23% with very decent category. So that the learning media access control fingerprint can be categorized very feasible use on the subjects of Engineering Control System.
