INFUSING MONITORING TOOLS USING WEB ONLINE BASED ESP8266 WITH ARDUINO IDE PROGRAMMING

Abstract


The purposes of this tool are to get the hardware planning, software planning, and to performs of the infusion monitoring tool using ESPGI66-based online web with Arduino IDE programming, which works to monitor the infusion of patients in the hospital in order to prevent delayed in intravenous. The making of this infuse drop monitoring tool consists of several stages: identification needs, analysis needs, block diagram circuit, system planning, tool aids making, flow chart program, tool testing, and sample collecting. The manufacture of this infusion drop monitoring tool uses iron as a framework. This tool uses NodeMCU ESP8266-E12 as a controller, IR Sensor Module Avoidance Barrier as infusion drop detector, Arduino IDE software as a program tool, and the web as a display of the drop monitoring. The test results indicated the existence of the design tool can be implemented and used in hospitals on 500 ml infusion using macro infusion set with succesion rate up to 97.13%. The Arduino IDE program with NodeMCU ESP8266 could be integrated, so that the running programs work properly. IR Module Sensor Obstacle Avoidance could be arranged in different ways although it is difficult to adjust the distance of the reflection to the object. The display on the web showed that it was in line with its function, it could monitor the availability of the infusion fluids, and also could detect if the infusion run out or jamming.
