Media Sosial dan Perubahan Budaya Lokal: Tinjauan Sistematis atas Dampak Facebook

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun tinjauan literatur sistematis mengenai pengaruh media sosial Facebook terhadap nilai budaya masyarakat lokal, dengan fokus pada tren, kesenjangan, dan arah masa depan penelitian. Facebook, sebagai platform media sosial global, telah menjadi ruang publik digital yang memungkinkan pertukaran dan transformasi nilai budaya secara lintas batas. Namun, pengaruhnya terhadap nilai-nilai lokal masih menunjukkan dinamika yang kompleks dan beragam, tergantung pada konteks sosial dan budaya pengguna. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sistematis berbasis kerangka PRISMA dengan mengkaji 30 artikel jurnal terindeks internasional dari tahun 2010 hingga 2023. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Facebook dapat memperkuat, mentransformasi, maupun mengaburkan nilai budaya lokal melalui proses negosiasi digital yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor kolektivisme, privasi, kehormatan, ekspresi diri, dan afiliasi sosial. Studi ini juga menemukan kesenjangan dalam representasi populasi, keterbatasan metodologis, serta kurangnya pendekatan multidisipliner dalam kajian sebelumnya. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penyediaan pemetaan tematik, identifikasi celah penelitian, serta usulan arah riset masa depan yang lebih inklusif dan kontekstual. Implikasi praktisnya menekankan pentingnya penguatan literasi digital berbasis budaya lokal serta perumusan kebijakan kebudayaan yang adaptif terhadap disrupsi teknologi.
