PENGARUH WEIGHT TRAINNING DAN BODY WEIGHT TRAINING TERHADAP PENURUNAN KADAR LEMAK TUBUH MEMBER LAKI-LAKI DI JAMBULUWUK FITNES CENTER

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh weight training terhadap penurunan kadar lemak tubuh
member laki-laki Jambuluwuk fitness center, (2) mengetahui pengaruh body weight training terhadap penurunan kadar
lemak tubuh member laki-laki Jambuluwuk fitness center, dan (3) perbedaan pengaruh pengaruh antara metode latihan
antara weight training dan body weight training terhadap penurunan kadar lemak tubuh member laki-laki Jambuluwuk
fitness center Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu two group
pretest-posttest. Populasi yang digunakan adalah member laki-laki yang aktif latihan di Jambuluwuk fitness center dengan
tujuan program penurunan lemak tubuh dengan jumlah 16 orang. Pembagian kelompok dalam penelitian ini dengan cara
ordinal pairing. Untuk kelompok I latihan menggunakan metode weight training dan kelompok II menggunakan metode
body weight training. Analisis data menggunakan uji t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat Pengaruh
yang signifikan dari weight training terhadap penurunan kadar lemak tubuh member laki-laki Jambuluwuk fitness center,
dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 (p<0,000), (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari body weight training terhadap
penurunan kadar lemak member laki-laki fitness center Jambuluwuk, dengan nilai signifikan 0,000 (p<0,000), dan (3)
Berdasarkan perbedaan rata-rata (mean df), terdapat penurunan kadar lemak antara kelompok weight training (6,50) dan
body weight training (2,75) dengan nilai p (sig) sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa weight training lebih
berpengaruh menurunkan kadar lemak tubuh dibanding body weight training.

fitness center Jambuluwuk, (2) to know the effect of body weight training to decrease body fat level of male member of
fitness center Jambuluwuk, and (3) Difference of influence influence between training method between weight training
and body weight training to decrease body fat content member of male fitness center Jambuluwuk Yogyakarta. This
research is experiment with research design that used is two group pretest-posttest. The population used is a member of
the active male fitness center Jambuluwuk with the goal of body fat reduction program with the number of 16 people. The
division of groups in this study by ordinal pairing. For group I training using weight training method and group II using
body weight training method. Data analysis using t test. The results showed that: (1) There was a significant effect of
weight training on decreasing body fat content of male members of fitness center Jambuluwuk, with significant value
0,000 (p <0.000), (2) There was significant effect of body weight training on Decrease in fat content of male male fitness
center Jambuluwuk, with significant value 0,000 (p <0.000), and (3) Based on mean difference (df), there was a decrease
in fat content between weight training group (6.50) and body Weight training (2.75) with p value (sig) of 0.000 (p <0.05).
It can be concluded that weight training is more influential lower body fat content than body weight training.
