PELAKSANAAN MODEL SENTRA DAN LINGKARAN DALAM KEGIATAN MAIN ANAK USIA DINI DI KELOMPOK BERMAIN RUMAH IBU JONGKANG SARIHARJO NGAGLIK SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA

Abstract



Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan model sentra dan lingkaran dalam
kegiatan main anak usia dini di Kelompok Bermain Rumah Ibu Jongkang Sariharjo Ngaglik Sleman
Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah
dan 5 (lima) guru KB Rumah Ibu. Sedangkan objek penelitiannya adalah model sentra dan lingkaran.
Setting penelitian mengambil tempat di KB Rumah Ibu Jongkang. Metode pengumpulan data
menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan
teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan menurut Miles dan Huberman yaitu pengumpulan
data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui teknik
triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KB Rumah Ibu sudah melaksanakan
kegiatan main sentra dan lingkaran yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan main
yang dilaksanakan sesuai dengan perencanaan pembelajaran yang telah dibuat guru. Adapun proses
pembelajaran dengan sistem sentra dengan memberikan pijakan lingkungan main, pijakan sebelum main,
pijakan saat main, dan pijakan setelah main (kegiatan recalling). Dengan sentra main diantaranya sentra
peran, sentra balok, sentra persiapan, dan sentra alam. Kegiatan main di sentra terdapat 3 jenis main
(sensorimotor, peran, dan pembangunan) yang sangat penting dalam merangsang seluruh aspek
kecerdasan anak. Sehingga melalui model sentra dan lingkaran ini semua kebutuhan anak yang berkaitan
dengan aspek perkembangan anak dapat terpenuhi.

Abstract
This research aims to describe implementation of beyond centers and circle time model on early
childhood playing activities in play group of “Rumah Ibu” Jongkang Sariharjo Naglik Sleman
Yogyakarta. This type of research is a descriptive study. The subject of this research are headmaster and
five teachers. Whereas the object of research is beyond centers and circle time model. Research setting is
in play group of “Rumah Ibu” Jongkang. Methods of data collection are using interviews, observation,
and documentation. Research data analysis is using qualitative descriptive analysis technique by stages
according to Miles and Huberman namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and
conclusion. The validity of the data is obtained through triangulation of sources and methods techniques.
The results showed that play group of “Rumah Ibu” already apply playing activities of beyond centers
and circle time which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. The playing activities is carried
out in accordance with the plan prepared teachers. The learning process with beyond centers and circle
time system is done by providing environmental referrals play, referrals before playing, referrals while
playing, and referrals after playing (recalling). With centers are using role playing centers, block centers,
preparation centers, and nature centers. Which there are 3 types of activities play in the centers
(sensorimotor, role play, and development play) are very important in stimulating all aspect of children’s
intelligence. So through beyond centers and circle time model all needs of children be related with
aspects of child development can be met.
