PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE MAKE A MATCH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS III SD NEGERI 3 PALAR KLATEN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri 3 Palar Klaten dalam pembelajaran matematika melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD Negeri 3 Palar Klaten yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah model dari Suharsimi Arikunto. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) observasi, 2) skala minat belajar matematika dan 3) tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif teknik komparatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe make a match yang dilaksanakan dengan menyiapkan kartu pasangan, membagikan kartu kepada siswa, siswa mengerjakan soal pada kartu pasangan, siswa mencari kartu pasangannya, siswa mengumpulkan kartu pasangan, dan mendiskusikan hasil kartu pasangan siswa dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas III SD Negeri 3 Palar. Hal tersebut terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata minat belajar dan hasil tes evaluasi. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata minat belajar siswa berdasarkan skala meningkat dari 3,20 menjadi 3,37. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata tes evaluasi meningkat dari 5,78 menjadi 7,62. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata minat belajar siswa berdasarkan skala meningkat dari 3,37 menjadi 3,95. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata tes evaluasi meningkat dari 6,74 menjadi 8,14. Nilai rata-rata minat belajar telah memenuhi kriteria yaitu berada di atas 3,40 atau berada pada kategori baik dan nilai hasil tes evaluasi siswa telah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan yaitu 75% dari siswa telah memperoleh nilai ≥ 70.

Abstract
This research aims to incrase the interest and learning outcomes in grade 3 of SD N 3 Palar, klaten, in learning mathematics with make a match learning model through the cooperative learning.
This research employed collaborative action research. The aims of this research are 37 learners in grade 3 of SD N 3 Palar, klaten. The research method is using a model from Suharsimi Arikunto. This research are used ; 1) observation, 2) the scale of learners interest in learning mathematics and 3) test, as the data collection methods. Descriptive quantitative comparative technique is used as the data analysis.
The result of this research showed that cooperative learning model of make a match type, have been conducted by preparing a pair of cards, the teacher shared the cards to the learners, learners work based on the problem in their pair cards, learners looking for their cards pair, learners are collecting the cards, and they discuss the results of the learners cards pair can increase the interest and learning outcomes of learners in grade 3 of SD N 3 Palar, Klaten. This is evidence by the increse of the average rating in learners interest and evaluation of test result. In cycle 1, the average rating in learners interest based on scale has increased from 3.20 to 3.37. while the average rating in evaluation of test results has increased from 5.78 to 7.62. In cycle 2, the average rating in learners interest based on scale has increased from 3.37 to 3.95, while the average rating in evaluation of test results has increased from 6.74 to 8.14. The average rating of the interest has met the criteria of that were above 3.40 or in good category and value for the learners evaluation test has met the success criteria in 75% from the learners have acquired the value of ≥ 70.
