PENGARUH PENERAPAN METODE INKUIRI TERBIMBING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan sosial peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik integratif kelas V di SD Negeri Jetis Bantul. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental yang menggunakan model nonequivalent control group design dan melibatkan 60 peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Jetis Bantul pada semester 1 (ganjil) tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebagai subjek pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa pre-experiment questioner, post-experiment questioner, dan pedoman observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing. Pengaruh tersebut terlihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata keterampilan sosial peserta didik yang menerapkan metode inkuiri terbimbing sebesar 64,6 dan yang menerapkan metode ceramah bervariasi sebesar 57,3. Selain itu, perbedaan pengaruh juga terlihat dari hasil uji-t sebelum adanya treatment diperoleh probabilitas 0,641 dan setelah diberikan treatment dengan metode inkuiri terbimbing diperoleh probabilitas sebesar 0,003 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penerapan metode inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan sosial peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Jetis Bantul.

Abstract
This research aims to know the effect of guided inquiry method implementation to social skills of students in integrated thematic learning class V SD Negeri Jetis Bantul. This research is considered quantitative research with quasi experimental design that uses nonequivalent control group design models and consisting of 60 students class V SD Negeri Jetis Bantul in the first semester of academic year 2017/2018 as the subject. The data was collected using questioner and observation technique, while the instrument used in this research were pre-experiment questioner, post-experiment questioner, and observation paper. The result of this research shows that there’s a significant difference effect in implementation of guided inquiry method. It can be seen through the increasing mean value of student’s social skills who implementating guided inquiry method were 64.6 and who implementating lectures vary were 57.3. Besides that, the difference effect of guided inquiry implementation can be seen through the result of t-test. The probability before getting treatment was 0.641, while after getting treatment turned to be 0.003. It means there’s a significant difference of guided inquiry method to social skills of student in class V SD Negeri Jetis Bantul.
