UPAYA PENGEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU TAMAN KANAK-KANAK DI KECAMATAN BANTUL, KABUPATEN BANTUL
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; (1) kompetensi profesional yang dimiliki guru TK di Kecamatan Bantul, (2) upaya pengembangan kompetensi profesional yang dilakukan guru TK di Kecamatan Bantul, dan (3) upaya pengembangan kompetensi profesional yang dipandang paling efektif oleh guru TK di Kecamatan Bantul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan satu variabel yaitu kompetensi profesional guru. Lokasi penelitian di seluruh TK se Kecamatan Bantul sejumlah 38 sekolah. Responden penelitian adalah 159 guru TK. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket terbuka dan tertutup. Validitas data menggunakan validitas isi. Reliabilitas data menggunakan teknik Croncbach’s Alpha. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus persentase untuk mengetahui pencapaian setiap komponen melalui data statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut; (1) kompetensi profesional yang dimiliki guru TK di Kecamatan Bantul rata-rata berkategori sangat baik, (2) upaya pengembangan kompetensi profesional yang dilakukan guru TK di Kecamatan Bantul rata-rata baik, (3) upaya pengembangan yang dipandang guru lebih efektif untuk mengembangkan kompetensi profesionalnya yakni melalui diklat karena kegiatan tersebut akan membahas materi dengan tuntas dan disertai dengan pelatihan setelah pembahasan.

DEVELOPMENT EFFORT OF KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS
PROFESSIONALS COMPETENCE IN BANTUL COUNTY AND REGION
Abstract
This research is intended to find out; (1) professional competence of kindergarten teachers in Bantul county, (2) the effort development professional competence that teachers do, (3) the most effective effort professional development selected by the kindergarten teachers in Bantul county. This research is a quantitative descriptive method with one variable is teachers professional competence. The research located on all kindergarten school in Bantul county. The respondent this research are 159 kindergarten teachers and to collect the data is used questionnaire. The validity of the data used content’s validity. Furthermore, to measured the reliability of the data techniques is used Croncbach's Alpha. Analysis data is used the percentage technique to know reached every component by the data statistic. The results of the research are; (1) the average of professional competence kindergarten teachers in Bantul county is very well, (2) the average of effort development professional competence that teachers doing is well, (3) the most effective effort professional development selected by the kindergarten teachers to increase their professional competence is by training, the reason is because it is will discuss the matter with clearly and the audience can apply what the matter that discussing.
