PENGARUH PELAKSANAAN MGMP IPA TERPADU DAN SUPERVISI AKADEMIK OLEH KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU IPA SMP/MTS SE-KOTA MAGELANG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh pelaksanaan MGMP IPA
terhadap kompetensi profesional guru IPA SMP/MTs se-Kota Magelang; (2) Pengaruh
supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi profesional guru IPA SMP/MTs
se-Kota Magelang; dan (3) pengaruh pelaksanaan MGMP IPA dan supervisi akademik
kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi profesional guru IPA SMP/MTs se-Kota Magelang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel sesuai tabel
pengukuran Krejcie dan Morgan berjumlah 73 guru, dengan teknik simple random
sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan
antara pelaksanaan MGMP IPA terhadap kompetensi profesional guru IPA SMP/MTs se-
Kota Magelang sebesar 17,25%; (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara
supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi guru IPA SMP/MTs se-Kota
Magelang sebesar 9,52%; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara
pelaksanaan MGMP IPA dan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi
profesional guru IPA SMP/MTs se-Kota Magelang sebesar 26,77%.

Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know: (1) the affect of science MGMP
implementation to science teacher professional competences at junior high school in
Magelang district; (2) the affect principal academic supervision to science teacher
professional competences at junior high school in Magelang district; and (3) the affect of
science MGMP implementation and principal academic supervision to science teacher
professional competences at junior high school in Magelang district. This research
conducted by quantitative approach. The samples were 73 teacher, based on Krejcie and
Morgan table. The results showed: (1) there is positive and significant affect of science
MGMP implementation to science teacher professional competences at junior high
school in Magelang district is 17,25%; (2) there is positive and significant affect of
principal academic supervision to science teacher professional competences at junior
high school in Magelang district is 9,52%; and (3) there is positive and significant affect
of science MGMP implementation and principal academic supervision to science teacher
professional competences at junior high school in Magelang district is 26,77%.
