PELAKSANAAN SUPERVISI AKADEMIK KEPALA SEKOLAH DI SD NEGERI SE-KECAMATAN PAKEM

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan, permasalahan dan strategi dalam memecahkan permasalahan pada pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah di SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Pakem. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Lokasi penelitian yaitu di 3 SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Pakem. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semiterstuktur, observasi non-partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Uji keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) Kepala SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Pakem melaksanakan supervisi akademik melalui tahapan, a. Perencanaan yaitu perumusan tujuan, penentuan jadwal pelaksanaan, prosedur dan apa saja yang perlu dipersiapkan oleh guru; b. Kepala sekolah tidak membentuk panitia; c. Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah menggunakan pendekatan langsung, tidak langsung dan kolaboratif. Teknik yang digunakan yaitu kunjungan kelas, observasi kelas, pertemuan individu serta rapat. Instrument yang digunakan berupa angket dan catatan supervisi akademik; d. Penilaian dilakukan secara langsung. Penentuan hasil akhir menggunakan aplikasi dan catatan supervisi akademik; e. Pelaporan melalui proses identifikasi, analisis dan catatan hasil supervisi akademik; f. Evaluasi melalui rapat dan pertemuan individual; g. Tindak lanjut pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dilakukan dengan analisis kebutuhan hasil supervisi. (2). Hambatan kepala sekolah terkait dengan pergeseran jadwal pelaksanaan supervisi akademik. (3) Strategi kepala sekolah dalam menghadapi permasalahan supervisi akademik dengan melakukan pergantian jadwal pelaksanaan supervisi akademik.

Abstract
This study aims to describe implementation, problem and strategy in solving the problems of academic supervision of principals at public elemetary schools in Pakem sub-district. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were the principal and teachers. The location of the research was at 3 public elementary schools in Pakem sub-district. Data collection methods by semi-structured interview, non-participatory observation, and study documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, display data, and drawing conclusions/verification. Data validity test uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed : (1) Principals of public elementary schools in Pakem sub-district conducted academic supervision through stages, a. Planning, namely the formulation of objectives, determining the implementation schedule, procedures, and what needs to be prepared by the teacher, b. The principal does not form a committee, c. The headmaster's academic supervision uses a direct, indirect, and collaborative approach. The techniques used are class visits, class observations, individual meetings, and meetings. The instruments used were questionnaires and academic supervision notes, d. Assessment is done directly. Determination of the final results using the application and academic supervision notes, e. Reporting through the process of identifying, analyzing, and recording the results of academic supervision, f. Evaluation through meetings and individual meetings, g. Follow-up implementation of academic supervision by analyzing the needs of supervision results. (2) Detention of school principals is related to shifts in the schedule of academic supervision. (3) Principal's strategy in dealing with academic supervision problems by changing the schedule of academic supervision implementation.
