STRATEGI COPING STRES PADA REMAJA MENIKAH DINI DI DESA TANGKISAN GANTIWARNO KLATEN

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi coping stres remaja menikah dini di desa tangkisan klaten, meliputi faktor menikah dini, sumber stres, respon terhadap stres dan strategi coping stres. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja menikah dini di desa tangkisan, berusia 16-19 tahun dengan usia pernikahan maksimal tiga tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor menikah dini pada remaja di desa tangkisan meliputi, kondisi ekonomi lemah, tingkat pendidikan rendah, ketidakharmonisan keluarga, seks bebas dan kehamilan di luar nikah. Sumber stres remaja menikah dini meliputi, pekerjaan yang belum mapan, penghasilan yang sedikit, perubahan peran dan tanggung jawab yang besar, tuntutan pasangan yang tinggi, kesalahpahaman antar pasangan. Strategi coping yang digunakan meliputi, problem focused coping dan emotion focused coping.

Abstract

The goal of this research are to know the coping stress strategy for teenagers which early marriage in tangkisan klaten, which are the factor of early marriage, the stress source, the respond to stress and coping stress strategy. This method of research is use case study method. The subject for this research is the teenagers which early marriage in tangkisan klaten, in range age between 16 years until 19 year which have been marriage more than three years. The result of the study show that the factor of choosing the teenagers to early marriage are the weakness of their economy, the lower level education, broken home family, free sex, and the maternity before marriage. The source of the stress of teenagers which early marriage are unstably work, lower income, the huge change of the part and responsibility, the high demand from their pairs, the misunderstanding between them. The coping strategy which use are problem focused coping and emotion focused coping.
