EFEKTIVITAS KONSELING REALITAS UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENERIMAAN DIRI SISWA KELAS IX SMP NEGERI 1 TEMPEL

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian adalah menguji efektivitas konseling realitas untuk meningkatkan signifikansi penerimaan diri siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Tempel.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen.Desain penelitian pre experimental design dengan one-group pre test and post test design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Tempel.Subyek penelitian adalah 10 siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Tempel yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu yang memiliki penerimaan diri rendah dan memenuhi kriteria yaitu suka berpikiran negatif terhadap diri sendiri, sukar menerima kritik, pendiam dan suka menghindari teman sekelas. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis wilcoxon pada pretest dan posttest menunjukkan taraf signifikasi p = 0,005 < 0,05 hal ini menujukkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah konseling realitas efektif untuk meningkatkan penerimaan diri siswa kelas IX SMP N 1 Tempel.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on obtained data from self-acceptance scale of class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Tempel. This study was a quantitative approach with experimental research type. The study designed pre-experimental design with one-group pre-test and post-test design. The study population were students class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Tempel. The subjects of this research were 10 students of class IX of SMP Negeri 1 Tempel that were taken by using purposive sampling techniques that had a low self-acceptance and justified the criteria that are like thinking negatively about themselves, difficult to accept criticism, reserved and preferred to avoid classmates.Based on the results of hypothesis testing of wilcoxon at pre-test and post-test showed that the significance level of p = 0.005 <0.05 it showed that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The final conclusion of this research was the reality counseling is effective to improve self-acceptance class IX students of SMP N 1 Tempel.
