KOMPETENSI SOSIAL GURU BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING SMP NEGERI DI KABUPATEN SLEMAN

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kompetensi sosial guru bimbingan dan konseling beserta alasannya pada guru bimbingan dan konseling SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Sleman. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor rerata/mean dari seluruh guru bimbingan dan konseling sebesar 1,90. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sosial guru bimbingan dan konseling SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Sleman terkategori “tinggi” karena skor rerata/mean nya berada pada interval 176-210. Kompetensi sosial guru bimbingan dan konseling berdasarkan aspek mengimplementasikan kolaborasi intern di tempat bekerja memiliki skor rerata/mean 1,90 berada pada kategori “tinggi”, aspek berperan dalam organisasi dan kegiatan profesi bimbingan dan konseling memiliki skor rerata/mean 1,61 berada pada kategori “sedang” dan kompetensi sosial guru bimbingan dan konseling berdasarkan aspek mengimplementasikan kolaborasi antar profesi memiliki skor rerata/mean 1,80 berada pada kategori “tinggi”. Hal ini berarti guru bimbingan dan konseling SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Sleman dapat dinyatakan kompeten dalam memberikan pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling yang berkualitas.

Abstract

               This study was conducted to describe the social competence of guidance and counseling teacher at Junior High School in Sleman. This study was categorized as quantitative-describtive research. The result of the study revealed that the social competence of the guidance and counseling teacher was considered good. Results showed the mean score of all teachers the guidance and counseling of 1.90. This suggests that the performance of social competence of teachers guidance and counseling Junior High School in Sleman already " high " because of its mean score is in the interval 176-210 . Social competence of teachers guidance and counseling based on the aspects of implementing the internal collaboration in the workplace has a mean score of 1.90 in the category "high" , aspects play a role in the organization and activities of professional guidance and counseling have a mean score of 1.61 in the category "medium " and social competence of teachers guidance and counseling based on the aspects of implementing inter-professional collaboration has a mean score of 1.80 in the category "high" . This means the teacher guidance and counseling Junior High School in Sleman can be declared competent in providing guidance and counseling services quality.
