PERBEDAAN KONSEP DIRI DITINJAU DARI URUTAN KELAHIRAN SISWA KELAS X SMK NEGERI 7 YOGYAKARTA

            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan konsep diri anak tunggal dengan anak sulung, anak tnggal dengan anak tengah, anak tunggal dengan anak bungsu, anak sulung dengan anak tengah, anak sulung dengan anak bungsu, dan anak tengah dengan anak bungsu kelas X SMK N 7 Yogyakarta serta mendeskripsikan konsep diri pada setiap aspek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparatif menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen menggunakan skala konsep diri. Subyek penelitian yaitu 29 anak tunggal, 27 anak sulung, 26 anak tengah, dan 26 anak bungsu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan signifikansi 0,000 perbedaan konsep diri ditinjau dari urutan kelahiran. Signifikan 0,000 untuk perbedaan  konsep diri anak tunggal dengan anak sulung, 0,013 untuk perbedaan konsep diri anak tunggal dengan anak tengah, 0,000 untuk perbedaan konsep diri anak tunggal dengan anak bungsu, 0,011 perbedaan konsep diri anak sulung dengan anak tengah, 0,019 perbedaan konsep diri anak sulung dengan anak bungsu, dan 0,023 perbedaan antara anak tengah dengan anak bungsu.

Abstract                     

            This research is conducted to know the different scale of self-concept between  the  only child with the firstborn, the only child with the middle child, the only child with the youngest children, the firstborn with the middle child, the firstborn to the youngest child, and the middle child with the youngest child of class X SMK N 7 Yogyakarta as well as to describe how the self-concept in every aspect. This research is a comparative research using a quantitative approach. Instrument which is used is self-concept scale. The subjects of this research are 29 only childs, 27 firstborns,  26 middle child, and 26 youngest child. The results showed significant figure of 0,000 for the difference in self-concept in terms of birth order. Significant figures 0.000 for the difference self-concept the only child with the eldest, 0,013 for the difference between self-concept the only child with the middle child, 0,000 for the difference in self-concept only child with the youngest children, 0,011 difference between self-concept the firstborn with the middle child, 0,019 difference in self-concept the firstborn to the youngest child, and 0,023 difference between the middle child with the youngest children.
