PENGARUH FUTURE TIME PERSPECTIVE (FTP) TERHADAP KEMATANGAN KARIER MAHASISWA BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh future time perspective terhadap kematangan karier dengan subjek mahasiswa jurusan Bimbingan dan Konseling FIP UNY. Metode pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Penentuan sampel menggunakan rumus Isaac dan Michael dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%. Diperoleh 168 sampel mahasiswa BK UNY angkatan 2016-2019 sebagai subyek dalam penelitian. Pengumpulan data FTP mengadaptasi skala Future Time Perspective Scale (FTPS) yang dikembangkan oleh Husman dan Shell (2008). Pengukuran tingkat kematangan karier mahasiswa mengadaptasi skala kematangan karier yang dikembangkan Ulfa, D.M. (2018) berdasarkan acuan Teori Donald E. Super. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis regresi dengan bantuan Software SPSS Version 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara future time perspective terhadap kematangan karier mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling dengan pengaruh sebesar R square sebesar 0,285. Analisis regresi linier sederhana menyebutkan bahwa future time perspective berkontribusi 28,5% terhadap kematangan karir dan 71.5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of future time perspective on career maturity with the subject of students majoring in Guidance and Counseling, Faculty of Education, Yogyakarta State University. The research approach method used is quantitative methods. The samples were determined using the Isaac and Michael formula with an error rate of 5%. Obtained 168 samples of students class 2016-2019 as subjects in the study. FTP data collection adapts the Future Time Perspective Scale (FTPS) developed by Husman and Shell (2008). Measuring the level of student career maturity adapts the career maturity scale developed by Ulfa, D.M. (2018) based on the theory of Donald E. Super. Data analysis was performed using regression analysis with the software of SPSS Version 24. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between future time perspectives on the career maturity of guidance and counseling students with an effect of R square of 0.285. Simple linear regression analysis states that future time perspectives contribute 28.5% to career maturity and 71.5% are influenced by other factors.
