PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL YOUTUBE TERHADAP EKSPLORASI KARIR SISWA SMK YPKK 3 SLEMAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh frekuensi penggunaan Youtube yang berisi informasi karir terhadap eksplorasi karir siswa SMK YPKK 3 Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 84 siswa yang ditentukan dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan angket melalui media google form sebab peneliti tidak dapat bertatap muka dengan siswa dikarenakan adanya pandemi Novel Corona Virus-2019 (Covid-19). Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial Youtube yang berisi informasi karir berpengaruh terhadap eksplorasi karir siswa (sig. 0,000 < 0,05). Bentuk pengaruh penggunaan media sosial Youtube terhadap eksplorasi karir siswa adalah positif signifikan (koefisien regresi 1,130) sebesar 95,1% dengan 4,9% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of Youtube using frequency that serves career informations on YPKK 3 Sleman Vocational School student’s career exploration. This study is a quantitative research. The research sample are 84 students which is determined by proportional random sampling technique. Data collection in this study uses a questionnaire via google form media because of the researcher could not see the students directly due to Novel Corona Virus-2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. The data analysis technique is applying simple linear regression analysis. The result shows that the Youtube using frequency which mentioning career information has an effect on students' career exploration (sig. 0,000 < 0,05). The influence’s form of Youtube using on students' career exploration is positively significant (regression coefficient 1,130) about 95,1% meanwhile 4,9% gotten from the other factors.
