PENGARUH INTENSITAS BERMAIN GAME ONLINE BERKONTEN KEKERASAN TERHADAP PERILAKU AGRESIF SISWA KELAS IX SMP N 3 SAWIT

Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas bermain game online berkonten kekerasan terhadap perilaku agresif siswa kelas IX SMP N 3 Sawit. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex post facto. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMP N 3 Sawit. Kemudian didapatkan sampel penelitian sebanyak 119 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan 2 skala, yaitu intensitas bermain game online berkonten kekerasan, skala perilaku agresif dan 1 angket tertutup. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat intensitas bermain game online pada siswa berada pada kategori sedang sebanyak 101 siswa (84,9%), sedangkan tingkat perilaku agresif pada siswa berada pada kategori sedang sebanyak 106 siswa (89,1%).

Abstract
This purpose of the research was to see the effect of the intensity of playing online games on violence against the aggressive behavior of grade IX students of SMP N 3 Sawit. The research method used is ex post facto. The research subjects were all students of class IX SMP N 3 Sawit. Then the research sample was obtained as many as 119 students. The data collection technique used 2 scales, namely the intensity of playing online games with violence, a scale of aggressive behavior and 1 closed questionnaire The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and simple regression analysis. The results showed that the intensity of playing online games on students was in the moderate category as many as 101 students (84.9%), while the level of aggressive behavior in students was in the moderate category as many as 106 students (89.1%).
