KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL SISWA BROKEN HOME MTs NEGERI SLEMAN KOTA YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan sosial siswa broken home. Keterampilan sosial tersebut dilihat dari faktor penyebab broken home dan bentuk keterampilan sosial. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 3 orang. Setting penelitian ini dilakukan di sekolah dan rumah siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dalam menguji keabsahan data penelitian ini maka digunakan triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga langkah yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) faktor penyebab subyek NK mengalami broken home adalah perselingkuhan orangtua, kurangnya jalinan komunikasi, munculnya sikap egosentris orangtua, masalah perekonomian dan salah satu atau kedua orangtua “tidak hadir” secara kontinyu. Faktor penyebab subyek RC mengalami broken home adalah perceraian orangtua, perselingkuhan orangtua, kurangnya jalinan komunikasi, munculnya sikap egosentris orangtua, kesibukan orangtua dan salah satu atau kedua orangtua “tidak hadir” secara kontinyu. Faktor penyebab subyek AY mengalami broken home adalah perceraian orangtua, kurangnya jalinan komunikasi, munculnya sikap egosentris orangtua, kesibukan orangtua dan salah satu atau kedua orangtua “tidak hadir” secara kontinyu; 2) bentuk keterampilan sosial yang dimiliki oleh subyek broken home adalah a) kemampuan berkomunikasi, subyek NK menunjukan bahwa ia tidak mudah dalam berkomunikasi dengan orang baru, namun subyek RC dan AY menunjukannya secara normal; b) kemampuan memecahkan masalah, subyek NK dan AY mampu dalam menyelesaikan masalah dan subyek RC lebih memilih menghindari masalah; c) kemampuan berelasi, subyek RC dan AY mampu bersosialisasi, namun subyek NK sulit untuk bersosialisasi; d) kemampuan mengekspresikan diri, subyek NK dan RC memperlihatkan ekspresi perasaannya dengan cara yang berbeda dan subyek AY lebih senang menutupi ekspresi perasaannya.

Abstract
This study aimed to describe the social skills of students broken home. Social skills is seen from factors causing broken home and form social skills. The research approach used is a qualitative research case study. The subjects included three people. Setting this research was conducted at the school and students' homes. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. In this test the validity of the research data used triangulation data. Data analysis techniques done in three steps: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that 1) the factors causing NK subjects experienced a broken home is a parent's infidelity, lack of communication fabric, the emergence of egocentric attitudes of parents, economic problems and one or both parents "not present" continuously. Factors causing RC subjects experienced a broken home is a parental divorce, parental infidelity, lack of communication fabric, the emergence of egocentric attitude of the parents, the busyness of parents and one or both parents "not present" continuously. Factors causing AY subjects experienced a broken home are divorce, lack of communication fabric, the emergence of egocentric attitude of the parents, the busyness of parents and one or both parents "not present" continuously; 2) forms of social skills possessed by the subject broken home is a) the ability to communicate, NK subjects showed that it was not easy to communicate with new people, but the subject of RC and AY shows it as normal; b) the ability to solve problems, the subject of NK and AY able to solve problems and subjects RC prefer to avoid the issue; c) the ability to relate, the subject of RC and AY able to socialize, but the subject of NK difficult to socialize; d) the ability to express themselves, the subject of NK and RC showed expression of feelings in different ways and subject AY preferred to cover the expression of feelings.
