PERBEDAAN KEMATANGAN KARIR DITINJAU DARI LOCUS OF CONTROL INTERNAL DAN EKSTERNAL PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMK NEGERI 1 MAGELANG

Abstract



Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kematangan karir antara siswa kelas XI yang
memiliki locus of control internal dan locus of control eksternal di SMK N 1 Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan jenis komparasi. Pengujian hipotesis dengan teknik uji beda (uji-t). Penelitian ini menghasilkan tiga kesimpulan. Pertama, siswa dengan locus of control internal, sebanyak 18,61% dikategorikan tinggi, 69,50% dikategorikan sedang, dan 11,86% dikategorikan rendah. Selanjutnya siswa dengan locus of control eksternal, sejumlah 16,67% dikategorikan tinggi, 66,66% dikategorikan sedang, dan
16,67% dikategorikan rendah. Kedua, siswa kelas XI SMK N 1 Magelang yang memiliki locus of control internal sebesar 32,96%, yang memiliki locus of control eksternal sebesar 30,17%, dan yang memiliki kecenderungan kedua locus of control (internal dan eksternal) sebesar 36,87%. Ketiga, terdapat perbedaan kematangan karir antara siswa yang memiliki locus of control internal dan eksternal pada siswa kelas XI SMK N 1 Magelang. Hal tersebut berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan hasil perhitungan uji-t (independent samples test) siswa dengan locus of control internal dan eksternal, diperoleh nilai t sebesar 4,721 dan nilai sig. (2- tailed) sebesar 0,046 (p < 0,05).

Abstract
This study aim to determine the differences in career maturity among students of eleven grade who has
internal locus of control and external locus of control. This study use a quantitative with comparison type. The hypothesis testing use different test technique (t-test). This study have three conclusion. First, students who has internal locus of control, 18.61% categorized as high, 69.50% categorized as medium, and 11.86% categorized as low. Furthermore, students who has external locus of control, 16.67% categorized as high,
66.66% categorized as medium, and 16.67% categorized as low. Second, students eleven grade of Magelang
1 State Vocational School who has internal locus of control by 32.96%, who has external locus of control by
30.17%, and who has tendencies both locus of control (internal and external) by 36.87%. Third, there are differences in career maturity among students who has internal locus of control and external one on eleven
grade Magelang 1 State Vocational School. It’s based on hypothesis testing result with t-test technique
(independent samples test) students who has internal and external locus of control, obtained t value of 4.721 points and sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.046 points (p < 0.05).
