UPAYA MENURUNKAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN AKADEMIK MELALUI TEKNIK PHOTOVOICE PADA SISWA KELAS XI SMA N 1 JETIS BANTUL

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan akademik melalui teknik photovoice pada siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Jetis Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Jetis Bantul sebanyak 8 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu skala kecemasan akademik dan angket terbuka. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik photovoice dapat menurunkan tingkat kecemasan akademik siswa. Terbukti dengan hasil selisih skor rata-rata pra tindakan dengan pasca tindakan seluruh siswa yang menunjukkan adanya penurunan skor sebesar 11,75 sampai dengan 53,5 poin. Hasil rata-rata skor skala kecemasan akademik pada saat pra tindakan sebesar 121,28, pada pasca tindakan menurun sebesar 92,71. Hasil tersebut juga didukung dengan hasil angket terbuka yang menunjukkan siswa dapat mengungkapkan dan mendapat solusi kecemasan akademik yang dialami melalui proses presentasi dan diskusi yang dilakukan dalam konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik photovoice.

Abstract
The aims of this study is to reduce the level of academic anxiety through photovoice techniques in class XI students of Jetis Bantul Senior High School. This study uses action research methods. The subjects in this study were eighth students of SMA N 1 Jetis Bantul. Data collection methods used are academic anxiety scale and open questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the photovoice technique can reduce student’s academic anxiety levels. This is evidenced by the results of the difference in the pre-action average score with the post-action of all students which showed a decrease in scores of 11.75 to 53.5 points. The results of the average academic anxiety scale score at the time of pre-action amounted to 121.28, after post-action decreased by 92.71. These results are also supported by the results of an open questionnaire that shows students can express and get solutions to academic anxiety experienced through the presentation and discussion process conducted in group counseling using the photovoice technique.
