PENINGKATAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR MELALUI KONSELING KELOMPOK TEKNIK SELF MANAGEMENT PADA PESERTA DIDIK SMP NEGERI 3 PAKEM

Abstrak

            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar melalui layanan konseling kelompok teknik self management pada peserta didik SMP Negeri 3 Pakem. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan. Skala dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala kemandirian belajar. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan uji rank wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua kali siklus, siklus I mengalami rata rata peningkatan (11,44%) dan rata-rata peningkatan skor pada siklus II sebesar (20,57%), (2) secara kualitatif peserta didik telah mampu mengerahkan usaha baik secara fisik, kognitif dan metakognitif dalam belajar, peserta didik mampu menentukan sendiri cara belajar, media dan sumber belajar dan peserta didik dapat mengevaluasi secara mandiri kekurangannya dalam belajar, (3) konseling kelompok teknik self management dapat meningkatkan kemandirian belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 3 Pakem.

Abstract

The goals of this research to improve the self-direction learning through group counseling services with self- management technique for students of SMP Negeri 3 Pakem. This research is an action research. Scale of self direction learning. Data analysis was using descriptive quantitve and qualitative with rank wilcoxon test.The results of this study (1) This research was conducted in two cycle.The average of the increased score in the first cycle was (11,44%). The average of the increased score in the second cycle was (20.57%), (2) by the qualitative method the students have been able exert business both physically, cognitive and metacognitive in learning, students are able to determine their own way of learning, media, study resources, and students can evaluate independently of the shortchomings in learning, (3) the group counseling used the self management technique can increase the the student self direction learning in 3 Pakem State Junior High School.
