PENGARUH KEMATANGAN KARIR TERHADAP PEMILIHAN KARIR PESERTA DIDIK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kematangan karir memiliki pengaruh terhadap pemilihan karir peserta didik kelas XI SMA N 1 Wedi. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi sebab-akibat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMA N 1 Wedi yang berjumlah 155 peserta didik. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kematangan karir dan skala pemilihan karir. Uji validitas penelitian ini menggunakan validitas isi yaitu expert judgment. Uji reliabilitas instrument dihitung menggunakan rumus alfa cronbach. Hasil uji reliabilitas instrumen skala kematangan karir sebesar 0,900, sedangkan hasil uji reliabilitas instrument skala pemilihan karir sebesar 0,703. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS versi 23.00 For Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kematangan karir memiliki pengaruh yang postif dan signifikan terhadap pemilihan karir peserta didik (koefisien regresi sebesar 0,379 dan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000). Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi kematangan karir peserta didik maka semakin baik pemilihan karir peserta didik tersebut. Kematangan karir memiliki kontribusi terhadap pemilihan karir sebesar 54,3% sedangkan 45,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

This research had been aims to determine whether career maturity had been an influence on the career selection of students in class XI of SMA N 1 Wedi. This research approach was quantitative with the type of causal correlation research. The subjects of this study were student in class XI of SMA N 1 Wedi, which amounted to 155 students. The data collection method used a career maturity scale and a career selection scale. Test the validity of this research using content validity that is expert judgment. The instrument reliability test was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula. The reliability test results for the career maturity scale instrument were 0.900, while the reliability test results for the career selection scale instrument were 0.703. Data analysis using simple regression analysis techniques with helping by SPSS version 23.00 For Windows. The results of this study indicated that career maturity had been a positive and significant effect on students' career selection (regression coefficient of 0.379 and significance value of 0,000). That’s could be interpreted that the higher the student's career maturity so more better of that student's career selection. Career maturity has a contribution to career selection by 54.3% while 45.7% is influenced by other factors.
