PENGARUH PERSEPSI SISWA TERHADAP FULL DAY SCHOOL PADA STRESS AKADEMIK SISWA SMA NEGERI 1 KARANGANOM KLATEN

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kondisi stress akademik yang dialami oleh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom Klaten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh full day school terhadap stress akademik siswa SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom Klaten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom Klaten dengan jumlah 762 siswa. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 263 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data berupa skala full day school dan stress akademik. Uji validitas instrumen dengan expret judgement dan uji analisis butir, sedangkan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach dengan koefisien 0,703 pada skala full day school dan 0,846 pada skala stress akademik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Full day school di SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom sudah berjalan dengan baik dengan perolehan skor 67%, 2) Tingkat stres akademik di SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom tergolong sedang dengan perolehan skor 77%, 3) Ada pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara full day school dengan stress akademik di SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom Klaten dengan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05) yang berarti semakin baik program full day school maka semakin rendah stress akademik begitupun sebaliknya, semakin buruk program full day school maka semakin tinggi stress akademik.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the condition of academic stress in Senior High School 1 Karanganom Klaten. This study aims to determine the effect of full day school on academic stress on the students of Senior High School 1 Karanganom Klaten. The method used in this study is quantitative research with the type at corelational research. The population of this research is 762 students of Senior High School 1 Karanganom Klaten. The samples of the research are 263 student by using proportional stratified random sampling. The technique of collection is using the scale of full day school an academic stress. The instrument validity is conducted by expert judment and object analysis test, while reliability test is using Alpha Cronbach with 0,703 coefficient on the scale of full day school and 0,846 on the scale academic stress. The technique of data analysis is using simple linear regression analysis with 5% significance value. The research results show that: 1) Full day school in Senior High School 1 Karanganom Klaten has gone well with a score of 67%; 2) The level of Academic Stress in Senior High School 1 Karanganom is classified as moderate with a score of 77%; 3) Full day school has negative effect and significant to the academic stess on the students of senior high school 1 Karanganom Klaten. It is indicated by a significant level is 0,000 (p < 0,05) which means the better full day school program, it can cause a low amount of academics stress and vice versa the worst full day school program, it will generate more academic stress for students.
