PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL TERHADAP PENYESUAIAN AKADEMIK SISWA PONDOK PESANTREN WATHONIYAH ISLAMIYAH KEBUMEN

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap penyesuaian akademik, (2) mengetahui pengaruh,kecerdasan spiritual terhadap penyesuaian akademik, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap penyesuaian akademik siswa Pondok Pesantren Wathoniyah Islamiyah Kebumen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif ex post facto. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 90 siswa. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh antara kecerdasan emosional terhadap penyesuaian akademik. Koefisien regresi sebesar 0,642 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 41,2%. (2 terdapat pengaruh antara kecerdasan spiritual terhadap penyesuaian akademik. Koefisien regresi sebesar 0,696 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 48,5%. (3) terdapat pengaruh antara kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap penyesuaian akademik dengan koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,708 dan koefisien determinasi 50,1%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to (1) determine the effect of emotional quotient on academic adjustment, (2) determine the effect of spiritual quotient on academic adjustment, and (3) determine the effect of emotional quotient and spiritual quotient on student’s academic adjustment in Kebumen Wathoniyah Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School. This research was an ex post facto quantitative research. The research sample was amounted to 90 students. The analysis technique used simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicated that (1) there was an effect between emotional quotient on academic adjustment. The regression coefficient was 0.642 with a coefficient of determination 41.2%. (2 there was an effect between spiritual quotient on academic adjustment. The regression coefficient was 0.696 with a determination coefficient 48.5%. (3) there was an effect between emotional quotient and spiritual quotient on academic adjustment with a correlation coefficient (R) 0.708 and a coefficient of determination 50 , 1%.
