HUBUNGAN ANTARA ORIENTASI RELIGIUS DENGAN PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL BEING PADA SISWA SMA 2 BOPKRI YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara orientasi religius dengan psychological well being pada siswa SMA 2 BOPKRI Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA 2 BOPKRI Yogyakarta berjumlah 135 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling, sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 103 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis dengan korelasi Product Moment dari Karl Person. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan positif antara orientasi religius dengan psychological well being pada siswa SMA 2 BOPKRI Yogyakarta, dibuktikan dari nilai r hitung > r tabel (0,573>0,195) dan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05; dan (2) Hasil uji R² sebesar 0,328 artinya psychological well being berhubungan dengan variabel orientasi religius sebesar 32,8%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 67,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between religious orientation with psychological well being of student in SMA 2 BOPKRI Yogyakarta. This research uses quantitative approach. The population in this research is all students of class in grade XI SMA 2 BOPKRI Yogyakarta of 135 peoples. The sampling technique using random sampling, so the number of samples obtained as many as 103 people. Techniques of data collection using a scale that has been tested the validity and reliability. Data analysis technique used to answer hypothesis with Product Moment correlation from Karl Person. The results of this research indicate that: (1) there is a positive relationship between religious orientation with psychological well beingof student in SMA 2 BOPKRI Yogyakarta, that proved from r count> r table (0,573> 0,195) and significance value 0,000 <0,05; And (2) The result of R² test of 0.328 means that religious orientation is related to psychological well being variable of 32.8%, while the rest of 67.2% is influenced by other factors not included in this research.
