EVALUASI PROGRAM PEER COUNSELING DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA

            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program, faktor penghambat dan faktor pendorong programpeer counseling di SMP Negeri 2 Cangkringan. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian evaluasi dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif menggunakan model evaluasi judgement.informan kunci penelitian ini 1 orang konselor ahli, 3 siswa konselor sebaya dan 3 siswa konseli sebaya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi dengan bantuan alat pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara dan dan pedoman studi dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data.Uji kebsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data pada teknik dan sumber. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan program peer counseling di SMP Negeri 2 Cangkringan belum efektif dan perlu perbaikan. Terdapat kelemahan pada antacedent, transaction-process, dan outcome.Tedapat faktor penghambat program dari segi teknis dan non-teknis.Meskipun demikian ada pula faktor pendorong berjalannya program. Kelemahan, faktor penghambat dan faktor pendorong program program peer counseling di SMP Negeri 2 Cangkringanakan dijelaskan lebih lanjut pada isi artikel.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the program, inhibiting factors, and driving factor of the peer counseling program in SMP Negeri 2 Cangkringan. The type of this research is evaluation research with qualitative research approach using  judgement evaluation model. Key informants of this researach are 1 expert counselor, 3 student peer counselors, and 3 student peer counselees.Data collection techniques uses observation, interview, and documentation study with the aid of observation guides, interview guides, and documentation study guides. Data analysis through data reduction, data display, and data verification. The data validity test uses triangulation of data on technique and sources. Evaluation result show peer counseling programin SMP Negeri 2 Cangkringan not yet effective and need improvement. There are weaknesessin antacedent, transaction-process, and outcome. There are technical and non-technical inhibiting factors. Nevertheless there are also driving factors the passage of program. Weaknesses, inhibiting factors and driving factor peer counseling program in SMP Negeri 2 Cangkringan will be described further in the contents of the article.
