PENGARUH PRESTASI BELAJAR TERHADAP KEPERCAYAAN DIRI SISWA DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA NEGERI 2 MLATI

Abstrak

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh prestasi belajar terhadap kepercayaan diri pada siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Mlati. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP Negeri 2 Mlati sebanyak 360 siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 186 siswa dihitung berdasarkan tabel penentuan jumlah sampel Krejcie dan Morgan. Alat pengumpulan data berupa raport siswa dan skala kepercayaan diri. Berdasarkan uji reliabilitas pada instrumen skala kepercayaan diri dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach, diperoleh nilai koefisien ɑ 0,927. Analisis data dan uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana bernilai signifikansi 5% dengan bantuan SPSS for Windows versi 16.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepercayaan diri siswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 dan persamaan garis regresi Y = 10,917 + 1,600X.

This research is aimed to investigating the magnitude of influence of learning achievement through self-confidence at students in SMP Negeri 2 Mlati. This study used a quantitative approach. There were 360 students of SMP N 2 Mlati as the research while 186 of them were examined as the sample by determining sample size table by Krejcie and Morgan whit confidence rate of 95%. Data collection tools are students report cards and self-confidence scale. Based on the reliability testing with Alpha Cronbach formula, ɑ 0,927 was found as the coefficient of self-confidence scale. Data analysis and hypothesis test was conducted using simple regression technique is significant 5% using SPSS for Windows 16.0. The research showed that learning achievement gives a positive influence and significant to student’s self-confidence with significance value 0,000 and the regression equality of Y = 10,917 + 1,600X.
