FAKTOR-FAKTOR RESIKO KECANDUAN MENGGUNAKAN SMARTPHONE PADA SISWA DI SMK NEGERI 1 KALASAN YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor resiko penyebab kecanduan smartphone pada remaja di SMK Negeri 1 Kalasan. Faktor-fakto resiko dalam penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan individu menjadi kecanduan terhadap smartphone. Penelitian ini menggunakan menggunakan model penelitian survei. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah lima puluh lima remaja di SMK Negeri 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta dengan kategori siswa yang termasuk dalam kecanduan smartphone. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan Skala Identifikasi Faktor Penyebab Kecanduan Smartphone.Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan expert judgement, sedangkan uji skala reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach dan diperoleh koefisien 0,866. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah : 1) faktor internal merupakan faktor yang paling beresiko menyebabkan kecanduan yang terdiri dari aspek kontrol diri yang rendah, sensation seeking yang tinggi dan self esteem yang rendah. 2) faktor situasional merupakan faktor kedua yang beresiko, terdiri dari aspek tentang situasi psikologis individu. 3) faktor eksternal merupakan faktor ketiga yang beresiko, terdiri dari aspek tentang pemamparan media yang tinggi terhadap smartphone. 4) faktor sosial merupakan faktor keempat yang beresiko, terdiri dari aspek tentang interaksi sosial siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to understand risk factors addicted to using smartphone on students in SMK  Negeri 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta. Risk factors in this research was factors that causes the individuals being addicted to smartphone. This research use the model research survey. Subject in this research was 55 students in SMK Negeri 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta with category included in addicted to smartphone. Research data is obtained by using scale identification of the factors causing the addiction smartphone. This instrument has been validated by expert judgement, whereas the reliabilty scale test used Alpha Cronbach Formula and emerged coefficient score was 0,866. Data analysis was conducted quantitative descriptive analysis. Thus the results were : 1) Internal factor is the most risk factor cause addiction and consist of low self-control, high sensation seeking and low self-esteem. 2) Situational factor is the second risk factor that cause addiction and consist of individual psychological condition aspect. 3) External factor is the third risk factor that cause addiction and consist of highly media exposure about smartphone. 4) Social factor is the fourth factor that cause addiction and consist of social interaction aspect.
