Abstract

Automatic Warning System Smarttrash (AWASSH) is an Arduino Nano-based tool that is expected to make it easier for humans to dispose of garbage without having to touch the trash directly, thus providing comfort, convenience for everyone who wants to throw garbage and help the janitor in place - public places such as hospitals, hotels, banks and other public places. The manufacture of Automatic Warning System Smarttrash (AWASSH) through several stages of identification of needs, hardware design, software design (software), circuit design, tool making and tool testing. Based on the results of tests that have been implemented, the results obtained that the Automatic Warning System Smarttrash (AWASSH) work as expected, which is a stable circuit power supply of 12 volts and 5 volts, HC-SR04 sensor can detect humans at a distance of 25 cm and can Detect if garbage is full. Smart trash can open and close automatically and send notifications of short message service (SMS) when the garbage is full, overall this tool works 100% as expected.
