ANALYSIS AND DESIGN INFORMATION SYSTEM OF SMK PIRI 1 YOGYAKARTA STUDENT VALUE BASED SMS GATEWAY

Abstract

Reporting student learning outcomes in SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta still use conventional methods that is by giving leaflets repeat results to students who then shown to his parents. This method is less effective because there are times when the results are not reached to the parents and sometimes lost. The objectives of this research are: (1) overcoming the lack of student value information to students and parents. (2) Knowing the level of quality of student value information system SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta based sms gateway in terms of functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D) with waterfall development model. The results of this research are: (1) Information System of SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta Student Value Based SMS Gateway. This information system features SMS gateway using Gammu as its engine. (2) The test results are on the aspect of functionality resulted in 100% success percentage (very high), usability aspect with user satisfaction level of 89.47% (high) and alpha cronbach value of 0.844 (good), efficiency aspect using Yslow yields average performance score 94.82 with grade A, reliability aspect is 100% (very high) using WAPT 9.3, maintainability aspect produces MI 94.5 (highly maintainable) value, portability aspect has been met. Based on the test results concluded information system student value SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta based SMS gateway meets software quality criteria.
