PROTOTYPE OF AUTOMATIC BLIND BASED ON MICROCONTROLLER ATmega 8

Abstract


This Final Project has purpose to realize hardware and software design from prototype of automatic
blind based on microcontroller ATmega 8 and knowing how it works.
To make a prototype of automatic blind based on microcontroller ATmega 8, it needs a few step : (1)
Identify of necessity which is covers ATmega’s component, LDR sensor, servo motor continuous, and push
botton; (2) analysis of needs; (3) design of hardware; (4) design of software; (5) testing of project. Design of
software this system used a Code Vision AVR with C program.
Based on the result of testing, it got a result that this prototype which has size of length 55 cm and
width 33cm able to open it self and close automatically either it was able to open or close with custom mode.
Therefore this prototype could do properly with 10% succeed.
