READING DISTANCE AND LOW LIGHT SIGN ALARM FOR READING ACTIVITY

Abstract


The purpose of this final duty is to plan and make also to know how fine the work of reading distance and low light sign alarm for reading activity. Methods that used in this final duty making include of a few step, that is making analyze of device needs, making device hardware and software plan and doing test to know how fine the device work. The test include of data taking and calibration. Data taking to find conversion formula and calibration to find reading error. Based on the result of ultrasonic sensor test which taken, average of reading error is 1,94 %, in this case, it show that the sensor work well. In other side, result of LDR test show 67,94 % of error, this mean that LDR in this device doesn’t work well for detecting light intensity.
