Abstract

The purpose of this tool is a prototype smart home system for home security with the principles of human movement based on a reading beam human body temperature. Passive infrared sensor receiver will detect the movement of people through the action of the human body temperature generated and the data is sent to the microcontroller ATmega328. The results of sensor readings will make notification to the mobile phone dialing homeowner when there is movement in the house that left homeowners. The method used in building the prototype smart home design using ADDIE which consists of several stages in sequence, namely the analysis of the need to create a prototype smart home, identification of needs, the design of hardware and software, manufacturing tools, and testing tools. The test results can be concluded that the prototype smart home security can work in accordance with the principle that has been designed. The software in the microcontroller also be implemented as a source code. In addition, the working prototype smart home systems for security to work properly. PIR sensor has a level of measurement precision and accuracy with an average error of 0.5%.
