APPLICATION OF SFAE LEARNING MODEL TO INCREASE INTEREST AND LEARNING RESULTS STUDENT OF X AUDIO VIDEO ENGINEERING SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BANTUL

Abstract


This study aims to find out the application of learning model SFAE (Student Facilitator and Explaining) to increase interest and learning outcomes in the basic electricity and electronis subjects class X student of Audio Video Engineering SMK 1 Muhammadiyah Bantul academic year 2017-2018. This type of research is classroom action research. The data were collected by classroom observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive-qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the implementation of SFAE learning model can increase interest and learning outcomes of students of class X Audio Video Engineering SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. The result shows that the average scores of student learning interest in first cycle is 42,91%, and increase to 64,29% in the second cycle. On the psychomotor aspect of students, the average scores of psychomotor aspect in first cycle is 51,96%, and increase to 65% in the second cycle. The average cognitive score of students in first cycle is 72,92, and in second cycle is increase to 77,71.
