FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MINAT SISWA MEMILIH MASUK KE SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN PROGRAM KEAHLIAN ELEKTRONIKA INDUSTRI DI KABUPATEN KULON PROGO
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Deskripsi faktor internal dan faktor eksternal terhadap minat siswa, (2) Pengaruh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal secara parsial dan simultan terhadap minat siswa. Minat siswa pada penelitian ini adalah minat siswa memilih masuk ke SMK program keahlian elektronika industri di Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa-siswi kelas X SMK Program Keahlian Elektronika Industri di Kabupaten Kulon Progo tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuisioner dan dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Deskripsi faktor internal yang meliputi motivasi dan bakat sebagian siswa termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Tinggi (56,47%), Deskripsi faktor eksternal siswa yang meliputi keluarga dan masyarakat sebagian siswa termasuk dalam kategori Tinggi (34,11%), Deskripsi minat sebagian siswa termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Tinggi (67,05%), (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara faktor internal dan faktor eksternal secara parsial terhadap minat siswa sebesar (50,9%) dan (15,6%), serta secara simultan terhadap minat siswa sebesar (50,9%) dengan persamaan garis regresi diperoleh Y = 21,165 + 0,451X1 + 0,001X2.

Abstract
This research aims to know: (1) the description of internal and external factors on student interest, (2) the influence of internal and external factors partially and simultaneously on student interest. In this research, the student interest was choosing vocational high school industry majoring in industry electronics, located in Kulon Progo District. This research used ex-post facto method with quantitative approach. The population of this research is students of class X for the academic year 2016/2017. Data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed use descriptive and regression analysis. The result of the research showed that: (1) description of students internal factors that included motivation and talent gained 56.47% which was categorized Very High, description of students external factor that included family and society gained 34.11% which was categorized High, description of students interest gained 67.05%, which was categorized Very High, (2) there was a positive and significant influence between internal factors gained 50.9% and external factors gained 15.6% on student interest partially, student interest simultaneously gained 50.9% with regression line equation gained Y = 21.165 + 0.451X1 + 0.001X2.
