Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) mengetahui langkah-langkah pengembangan job sheet berbasis scientific approach pada mata pelajaran Sistem Kontrol Elektropneumatik; (2) mengetahui kelayakan job sheet; (3) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap job sheet; dan (4) mengetahui peningkatan kompetensi siswa setelah menggunakan job sheet berbasis scientific approach pada mata pelajaran Sistem Kontrol Elektropneumatik Kelas XI Teknik Otomasi Industri di SMK Negeri 2 Depok Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yang mengacu pada model pengembangan four-D (4D) models. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) pengembangan job sheet sesuai dengan model pengembangan four-D models dengan empat tahapan pokok yaitu, pendifinisian, pendesainan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran; (2) kelayakan job sheet berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi diperoleh rerata skor 3,53 (sangat layak) sedangkan berdasarkan penilaian ahli media diperoleh rerata skor 3,23 (layak); (3) respon siswa terhadap job sheet diperoleh rerata skor 3,25 (baik); (4) job sheet dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada mata pelajaran Sistem Kontrol Elektropneumatik sebesar 17,28% (nilai pre-test sebesar 6,48 dan nilai post-test sebesar 7,60) serta thitung= 27,9 dan sig. (p)=0,000 dalam analisis paired sample t-test.

Abstract
The aims of this research were to: (1) design the development of job sheet based on scientific approach for the course of Electropneumatic Control System; (2) identify the feasibility of the job sheet; (3) identify students’ responses to the job sheet; (4) identify students’ competence improvement after using the job sheet based on scientific approach for the course of electropneumatic control system. The subjects were 11th grade students of industrial automation engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Depok Sleman. The method used in this research was research and development with four-D (4D) models. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires and conducting tests. The results of this research showed that: (1) the development of job sheet was appropriate with the four-D model consisting of four primary steps which were definition, design, development, and dissemination; (2) based on validation from material experts the feasibility of the job sheet were 3.53 (very feasible) while based on validation from media experts the feasibility of the job sheet were 3.23 (feasible); (3) the students responses to the job sheet were 3.25 (feasible); (4) the job sheet improved students’ competence 17.28% (pre-test score 6.48 and post-test score 7.60), tcount=27.9 and sig.(p)=0.000 in paired sample t-test analysis.
