MODUL TRAINER KIT PLC DENGAN PENGAMAN RELAI BEBAN SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SMK YAPPI WONOSARI

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui: (i) unjuk kerja Modul Trainer Kit PLC dengan Pengaman Relai Beban, (ii) tingkat kelayakan Modul Trainer Kit PLC, dan (iii) perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara sesudah dan sebelum penggunaan Modul Trainer Kit PLC. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang dikemukakan oleh Robert Maribe Branch, yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Penelitian dan pengembangan mendapatkan hasil: (i) unjuk kerja Modul Trainer Kit PLC dengan pengaman relai beban beroperasi baik dari hasil tiga kali ujicoba. Ujicoba pertama mendapatkan persentase sebesar 90,37%, ujicoba kedua dan ketiga mendapatkan persentase sebesar 100%. (ii) Tingkat kelayakan Modul Trainer Kit PLC menurut pengguna secara keseluruhan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 76,31 %, berada pada kategori layak dengan rincian persentase penilaian kualitas teknis sebesar 73,48 %, dan persentase penilaian kualitas instruksional sebesar 79,15 %. (iii) Hasil uji-t mendapatkan nilai t sebesar -13,97 dan lebih rendah dari nilai -1,684, sehingga disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Trainer Kit PLC layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran mata diklat Sistem Pengendali Elektronik pada program keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di SMK YAPPI Wonosari.

Abstract
This research aims to know: (i) the performance of PLC Trainer Kit Module using Load Relay Safeguard, (ii) the feasibility of PLC Trainer Kit Module and (iii) the differences of students’ learning result before and after using PLC Trainer Kit Module for learning in classroom.The method used is Research and Development’s ADDIE model from Robert Maribe Branch that consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation.The results are: (i) the performance of PLC Trainer Kit Module using Load Relay Safeguard operated well in three trials in which the first trial got 90.37% points while the second and third trials got 100% points, (ii) the feasibility of PLC Trainer Kit Module by the users got 76.31% points in the appropriate category, in details, the technique quality assessment was 73.48% and the instructional quality assessment was 79.15%, (iii) in the t-test result, the t-value was -13.97 which is under -1.684 that means, there was a difference in the students’ learning. From the results, it can be concluded that PLC Trainer Kit Module is appropriate to be used as a learning media for Electronic Controlling System training and education program for Electric Power Installation Technique departement at SMK YAPPI Wonosari.
