PENCAPAIAN KOMPETENSI SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEKNIK LISTRIK DENGAN METODE INQUIRY

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pencapaian kompetensi ranah kognitif dan afektif antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode inquiry berbantu multimedia interaktif dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode konvensional. Pencapaian kompetensi siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode inquiry berbantu multimedia interaktif lebih baik daripada yang diajar menggunakan metode konvensional pada pembelajaran teknik listrik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest kontrol grup. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Elektronika Industri di SMK N 3 Wonosari berjumlah 62 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pencapaian kompetensi ranah kogitif dan afektif antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode inquiry berbantu multimedia interaktif dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode konvensional. Pencapaian kompetensi siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode inquiry berbantu multimedia interaktif lebih baik daripada yang diajar menggunakan metode konvensional pada pembelajaran teknik listrik. (ranah kognitif thitung > ttabel = 3,058 dan ranah afektif thitung > ttabel = 3,882 pada sig 5%).

Abstract

This research aimed to know the differences in competences achievement of cognitive and affective domains between the students who were taught by using inquiry method with interactive multimedia in comparison to the students who were taught by using conventional method. The competences achievement of students who were taught using inquiry method with interactive multimedia was better than the students who were taught by using conventional method on electrical engineering learning. This research was a quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were 62 students of tenth grade of Industrial Electronics Engineering Departement in SMK N 3 Wonosari. The data were collected by using tests and observation instruments. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and t-test. The result showed that there were differences in competences achievement of cognitive and affective domains between the students who were taught by using inquiry method with interactive multimedia in comparison the students who were taught by using conventional method. The competences achievement of students who were taught using inquiry method with interactive multimedia was better than the students who were taught by using conventional method on electrical engineering learning (cognitive domain tcount > ttable = 3.058 and affective domain tcount > ttabel = 3.882 with the significances 5%).
