PEMBELAJARAN METODE DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA MATA PELAJARAN ELEKTRONIKA DASAR SISWA KELAS X TEKNIK AUDIO VIDEO SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 BANTUL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) mengetahui perbedaan capaian kompetensiranah kognitif siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran metode discovery learningdengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran metode konvensional pada topik macam-macam gerbang dasar rangkaian logika. 2) mengetahui perbedaan capaian kompetensiranahpsikomotorik siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran metode discovery learningdengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran metode konvensional pada topik macam-macam gerbang dasar rangkaian logika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimendengan desain non-equivalent control group design.Penelitian dilakukan pada kelas X program keahlian Teknik Audio Video di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TAV1 dan X TAV2. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dan uji-t.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan capaian kompetensi ranah kognitif, antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran discovery learning ( =77,8) dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional (  66,8)pada topik macam-macam gerbang dasar rangkaian logika, thitung > ttabel (3,369 > 2,011) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan db sebesar 48, dan terdapat perbedaan capaian kompetensi ranah psikomotorik, antara siswa yang mengikuti model discovery learning ( = 82,2) dengan siswa yang mengikuti metode konvensional( =  75,6) pada topik macam-macam gerbang dasar rangkaian logika, thitung > ttabel (3,220 > 2,011) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan db sebesar 48.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) know the differences of cognitive-domain-competence achievement between students who have joined learning with discovery learning method and students who have joined learning with conventional learning method in the types of circuit logic basic gate topic. 2) to knows the differences ofpsychomotoric domain competence achievemen between students who have joined learning with discovery learningmethod and students who have joined learning with conventional learning method in the types of circuit logic basic gate topic.It is a quasi experimental researchwith non-equivalent control group design. This research was conducted in Xthgrade of Video Audio Engineering program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul. The subjects of the research were X TAV1 grade andX TAV2 grade. Descriptive analysis technique and T-test were used fordata analysis techniques. The results showed that there are difference in cognitive domain competence achievement among students who joined learning with discovery learning method( =77,8) with students who joined the conventional learning method(  66,8)in the types of circuit logic basic gate topic, thitung > ttabel (3.369 > 2.011) at level of significance by 0.05 with db by 48, and in psychomotor domain competence achievement of students who joined the learning with discovery learning method( = 82,2) with students who joined the conventional method( = 75,6)on the topic of various basic logic gate circuit topic, thitung > ttabel (3.220 > 2.011) at a level of significance by 0.05 with db by 48.
