PENGEMBANGAN TES PILIHAN GANDA HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILL (HOTS) DASAR LISTRIK DAN ELEKTRONIKA

Abstract


Abstrak

            Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) model yang tepat untuk tes Higher Order Thinking Skil (HOTS); (2) karakteristik tes HOTS; (3) deskripsi hasil tes HOTS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan tes. Penelitian ini dilakukan  di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dengan subyek penelitian Kelas X Program Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik. Teknik analisis data digunakan dengan analisis kuantitatif dan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh: (1) model tes HOTS yang dirancang adalah model tes kemampuan (performance) pilihan ganda dengan jumlah 15 dari 40 butir. Kemampuan HOTS mencakup Critical Thinking (67%) dan Creative Thinking (33%). (2) Karakteristik instrumen tes untuk validasi expert judgement nilai Aiken 0,80 (sangat relevan); nilai koefisien reliabilitas butir sebesar 0,53 (cukup baik); distraktor butir tes dapat berfungsi dengan baik; tingkat kesukaran butir sangat mudah (14%), mudah (33%), sukar (33%), sangat sukar (20%). (3) Deskripsi hasil tes HOTS 36% memiliki kemampuan kategori rendah pada kompetensi dasar (KD) 1, 40% berkemampuan sangat rendah pada KD2, dan 56% berkemampuan tinggi pada KD3.

Abstract

            The purposes of this study were to know: (1) appropriate model for higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) test; (2) characteristics of HOTS test; (3) description of HOTS test. This research was a development research with test development model. This research was conducted at State Vocational High School in Yogyakarta Special Region  with research subject of Class X Technical Program of Electrical Power Instalation. Data analysis technique used qualitative, quantitative and descriptive. The result this study yielded: (1) the designed HOTS test model was a multiple choice performance test model with 15 out of 40 questions. HOTS covering; critical thinking (67%) and creative thinking (33%). (2) Characteristics of instruments for Aiken expert judgment validation was 0.80 (highly relevant); value of reliability coefficient was 0.53 (good enough); distractor of test  worked  properly, difficulty level was 14% (very easy), 33% (easy), 33% (difficult), and 20% (very difficult). (3) Description of result of HOTS test: 36% has low category ability on basic competence (BC) 1, 40% very low ability on BC2, and 56% high ability on BC3.
