STUDY ABOUT THE EFFORTS OF PUSAT PELAYANAN TERPADU PERLINDUNGAN PEREMPUAN DAN ANAK (P2TP2A) KABUPATEN SLEMAN TO PROVIDE CHILDREN PROTECTION AGAINST VIOLENCE

Abstract

This writing based on the research that aims to determine the efforts of Pusat Pelayanan Terpadu Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (P2TP2A) Kabupaten Sleman to provide children protection against violence. The research was a descriptive research with qualitative approach carried out in Pusat Pelayanan Terpadu Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (P2TP2A) Kabupaten Sleman from August to November 2015. The research subjects taken by purposive, the subjects are the head of Technical Implementation Unit P2TP2A Kabupaten Sleman, a psychologist and a midwife. Data collection in this study used interviews and documentation. Examination authenticity of the data in this study used cross check data. Data analysis was performed by using inductive analysis data with steps: data reduction, data categorization and unitifikation, data presentation and drawing conclusion.

The research conclusion showed that P2TP2A Kabupaten Sleman already make serious efforts to protect children against violence. The efforts include preventive action, which consist of socialization, leaflets disrtibuting, seminar conducting, exhibition and stickers distributing; also repressive action, which consist of accept violence case, requirement identification of victims, crisis intervention, assistance and social reintegration.
